Hello, I’m Alicia “Logan” Barrs, LCSW, MSW. Welcome to my practice! With over a decade of experience in mental health counseling, I am passionate about providing compassionate care to individuals and couples navigating life’s challenges. My expertise spans generalist concerns such as anxiety, depression, and work-life balance, but my specialty lies in trauma resolution. I utilize an integrated approach, incorporating evidence-based practices like EMDR, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Brainspotting, and Mindfulness to create a personalized healing experience for each client.
I currently practice exclusively via telehealth, licensed in both California and Texas. My telehealth sessions provide a welcoming and supportive space where clients can feel safe, respected, and even share a laugh as we work together toward self-actualization and healing.
In addition to counseling, I serve as a Crisis Management Consultant, offering on-call resiliency counseling during national disasters, traumatic events, or individual crises. My role in these high-pressure situations has honed my ability to guide clients through their most challenging times with clarity and care.
