I understand that making that first step towards starting therapy can be difficult. However, if you are willing to put in the work, therapy can be a game changer for you.
Hi. I’m Tinyca Bryan. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina. More specifically, I am someone who sparks change in people’s lives. I help individuals, who desire to experience clarity and confidence in their lives, but feel like their reality is one of hopelessness. I provide supportive counseling to these individuals by exploring their history and uncovering patterns that they may not be aware of so that they can begin to move forward, gain more control of their emotions and start living the life they thought to be unattainable. I know from my years of experience in working with adolescents and adults who struggle with issues related to anxiety, depression, grief, relational issues, low self-esteem, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and more, that there is hope and you have the ability to overcome and not only live life but thrive in it. If you are ready to do the work, you will be amazed at how capable you are to explore parts of yourself that you never new existed. The process of therapy can help you gain necessary skills that will aid in your personal growth. I applaud you for taking the first step towards improving your emotional well-being. I believe that each one of use are capable and deserving of fulfilled lives. I realize that it can be difficult to talk to someone you’re meeting for the first time. However, I value the innate self-determination of my clients and empower them to move at a pace which feels most comfortable.

Feeling hesitant is okay. Therapy is strange in the beginning. You are sitting in the room with a stranger. The therapist's role is to make you feel comfortable and at ease, despite the natural hesitance you may feel.
Hello, I’m Jennifer. Let me start off by saying that I am really glad you are here. Life may feel overwhelming right now but you’re in the right place. When life throws us curveballs, it is not easy to always quickly adjust to that. Sometimes, you need to talk to someone who will listen and help you learn how to use the tools to live a healed life. Therapy is about healing, learning, and growing. I see my clients from a psychodynamic lens. This means that I work with clients with an understanding that our early experiences and relationships can have a profound impact on our current well-being. S & J Wellness LLC, is a private practice of which I am co-owner. While I try to see all clients that walk through our doors, this is not always possible. Please visit our website at www.snjwellness.com to see our team. You are an active participant in your therapy, so dependent on your reason for seeking therapy, we may suggest another clinician within our practice. My scope of practice is: Adult individual therapy Couples therapy Culturally Competent therapy Addiction Mood disorders Clinical Supervision and Consultation Trauma- specifically: chronic illness, chronic pain, end of life, grief, adoption and family complexities, healing after conversion therapy, family therapy for addiction, compassion fatigue, and surviving abuse.
